CANNES, FRANCE — Sun’s out, yachts out!
The annual Cannes Lions festival has brought out big business — and even bigger yachts.
Superyacht Lucy III, whose current owner is unknown, was spotted in the French Riviera harbor moments before setting sail for the high seas.
The beautiful barge, which is up for sale and originally asked for $9.3 million but reduced its price to about $8 million in March, departed the city Monday afternoon.
However, festival attendees can still rest their eyes on (and drool over) other yachts in town such as the Holiday, which hails from George Town, the Lady Trudy, the Blue Pearl and Ever East.
While all appeared occupied while parked in the marina, each of these vessels are available for charter.
Ranging in price from $100,000 per week to $200,000 per week, each yacht offers its own set of luxurious amenities, from full kitchens and dining rooms to numerous bedrooms.
Of course, companies such as iHeart Media, Vaynor, Paramount and more have all chartered yachts to host dinners, meetings and fabulous soirées on the sea.
