A Bebe Rexha fan has been arrested after hurling a cellphone at the singer during her New York City concert Sunday night.
The alleged assailant, Nicolas Malvagna of Manalapan, NJ, was charged with assault over the incident at The Rooftop at Pier 17, ABC7NY reported.
Malvagna, 27, is in police custody and will be arraigned Monday.
Footage captured by concertgoers showed the phone flying from the crowd and hitting Rexha, 33, in the face.
She turned away from the audience and collapsed to her knees in pain while members of her crew rushed onstage to help.
The show came to an abrupt halt as the Grammy nominee, whose real name is Bleta Rexha, received on-site medical assistance. She was then transported to a hospital, where she reportedly got multiple stitches.
The man who allegedly threw the phone appeared to be removed from the venue by security in a separate video shared by an attendee.
Reps for Rexha did not respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.
Fans quickly took to social media to fume over the attack on the “I’m Good (Blue)” singer.
“Absolutely great show ruined by a fan throwing their phone at @BebeRexha hopefully she is ok after that,” one person wrote on Twitter.
“We were all having a hell of a good time and so was Bebe, we were all having a blast, I mean who would even do that??? We hope you’re ok @BebeRexha,” another added.

“Wow, this is so vile, nasty, and disturbing. Bebe Rexha doesn’t deserve this at all. I hope she is ok, and I hope the person who threw the phone gets charged with assault,” a third supporter chimed in.
The Manhattan show was the 13th stop on Rexha’s Best F’n Night of My Life tour in support of her third album, “Bebe.”
Earlier this month, the chart-topper took to Twitter to slam online trolls after being criticized for her fluctuating weight.
“Yes I’m in my fat era and what?” the “Me, Myself & I” singer captioned a mirror selfie, which featured her exposed tummy.
