Luann de Lesseps, 57, claps back at ‘haters’ who say she’s too old to wear a bikini

She pleads guilty to being fabulous.

Luann de Lesseps, 57, defended her recent bikini snaps on Instagram yesterday after a slew of negative comments criticized the “Real Housewives of New York” alum for her sexy look.

“I’m proud of the fact that I can still rock a bikini at this age,” she said in a video superimposed over a photo of herself wearing a pink-and-white gingham set while posing against a stove.

At the bottom of the video, she added a screenshot of a fan’s comment saying, “way too old boo!!!!!!!”

“Women should be able to wear whatever they want at any age, as long as they feel good,” she continued in the clip, adding her classic “Housewives” line, “So be cool, don’t be all like, uncool.”

She captioned the post, “Haters gonna hate boo!” along with an eye-rolling emoji and a cartwheel emoji.

Countess Luann originally posted the bikini pics last Friday, sharing the kitchen snap along with one of her covering up the look with a white blazer and an oversized pair of sunglasses.

While some of the comments on the “Money Can’t Buy You Class” singer’s original post praised the reality star for her fit figure, others criticized her for wearing a bikini in her 50s.

“So old,” one Instagram user wrote along with three crying laughing emojis, while another commented, “barbie body with grandma face. i cannot.”

One follower even used the socialite’s own lyrics against her, writing, “You look wonderful but Why? This makes you look like you need attention for wrong reasons. Money can’t buy you class.”

Luckily, many of the comments on her new video were more supportive, like a follower who wrote, “I saw those negative comments and was wondering if people were looking at the same picture I was?! You look amazing! You inspire me!”

De Lesseps’ Bravo family also weighed in: Marysol Patton of “The Real Housewives of Miami” wrote, “Totally Lu you look better thank a-lot [sic] of 20 year olds.”

“Too old for what? I’m confused?” Sutton Stracke of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” added.

Luann is no stranger to a bikini pic, frequently sharing her sexy looks on Instagram as she hits the beach or boat — and after this video, we have a feeling she won’t be stopping anytime soon.
