Becky G seemingly left her engagement ring at home during the 2023 iHeartRadio Music Awards on Monday night.
Just hours after her fiancé, Sebastian Lletget, admitted to crossing “lines that should have never crossed,” Becky G walked the red carpet at the awards show solo in a stunning black Julien Macdonald gown, which she paired with plenty of bling.
But while she piled on a number of gleaming rings, noticeably absent from her hand was her diamond sparkler from Lletget.
The 26-year-old singer accepted the award for Best Latin Pop/Reggeaton Song of the Year for “Mamiii” during the ceremony.
Becky G’s appearance on the red carpet comes one week after her fiancé was accused of cheating by the Instagram account @ja29poo. The person behind the account claimed they had hooked up with Lletget in February.
“I will upload the videos of that night at the Shoko nightclub, where I was present with Sebastion [sic] Lletget, @iambeckyg’s boyfriend,” the Instagram user wrote on their Story, which was translated from Spanish to English.
They claimed they couldn’t post all the alleged proof because some of it is “very intimate,” including one “video of Sebastian naked.” The person also shared some of their alleged DMs and audio recordings.
Lletget, 30, then took to social media on Monday to apologize for an indiscretion without offering further details.
“Over the last several weeks, during a moment I regret deeply, a 10 minute lapse in judgement resulted in an extortion plot,” he wrote.
“Since this person did not get what they wanted it has now become a public social media spectacle filled with more lies than any truth and false posts aimed at the love of my life, the one person who I should never take for granted or put at risk.”
Although Lleget claimed he has “never” met the “anonymous internet stalker,” he confessed he pushed “boundaries of lines that should never be crossed” and called the experience a “wake-up call.”
He added that he has been hiding “personal trauma and acute anxiety” throughout his career, and the recent “chaos & pain” of his actions inspired him to start a “mental wellness program.”
Lletget concluded the post by apologizing to his fianceé, to whom he proposed in December after six years of dating.
For more Page Six you love …
“To Becky, you have been the light in my life, my strength, who has always shown me unconditional love. Instead of honoring that love every day, I have done the opposite, hurting you and disrespecting the one person I love more than anything.
“I am so sorry and know I have to do whatever it takes to earn back the trust and love you deserve.”
The couple began dating back in 2016.
Becky G has yet to publicly address the cheating rumors or her fiancé’s statement, and neither her nor Lletget’s reps have responded to Page Six’s request for comment.
