Khloé Kardashian puts new ‘curve-lovin’ spin on Kris Jenner’s ‘favorite’ ‘80s swimsuit

Khloé Kardashian is diving into her mom’s closet for swimsuit inspiration.

On Thursday, the star’s Good American brand released a swim collaboration with Body Glove — the brand behind Kris Jenner’s “favorite suits in the 80s,” as the momager raved in a recent Instagram post. 

Similar throwback silhouettes were reimagined for the “curve lovin’” line, which offers Body Glove’s signature neoprene cuts in the brand’s XS-to-5XL size range.

Among the sporty, sexy styles? Everything from zip-up bikini tops like the You Spin Me Swim Top ($75) — which Khloé herself modeled in a sizzling seaside campaign — to more full-coverage options like the wetsuit-inspired Walk This Way Swimsuit ($159).

It seems a love for Body Glove runs in the famous family; Kylie Jenner once wore her mom’s vintage pink one-piece in 2015, prompting Kris to quip on Instagram, “you are grounded! Wait, I can’t do that anymore you’re 18….”

For those of us who can’t simply raid Jenner’s closet to snag the suit — which she called “one of my favorites of all time” in a recent throwback post — the ’80s-inspired Time After Time Swimsuit ($115) offers a similar silhouette, plus a zipper. 

Kardashian modeled it in a shimmering gold shade for the campaign, which also saw her striking a pose in styles including the Take On Me Swim Shorts ($109), Shout Bikini Bottom ($69) and matching You Spin Me Swim Top ($75).

Perhaps she’ll gift some of the line to sister Kim Kardashian; the star’s worn Body Glove suits on multiple occasions, sporting matching bikini bottoms with Kourtney Kardashian in 2018 and a posing solo in a silver bikini on vacation last year.

For those inspired by the latter style, the Tainted Love Bikini Top ($69) offers a similarly striped look in both gold and hot pink.

The latest campaign isn’t the first time Khloé has nodded to her famous mom, as the pair previously modeled together for Good American’s Bosswear workwear campaign.

Now, with the latest Body Glove release, perhaps Jenner can soon trade her business suits for swimsuits.
